STEMI Receiving Center

An ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) is a form of heart attack. It is important that those who experience a STEMI be treated within 90 minutes of the first onset of symptoms. The Emergency Department at Saddleback Medical Center is one of only a few designated cardiac receiving centers with emergency treatment times that beat the national average. The STEMI receiving team works in conjunction with the MemorialCare Heart and Vascular Institute at Saddleback Medical Center to provide the best cardiac care available.
